As Jess and I photograph more people I definitely feel that our passion for this field continues to grow. Come to think of it… We will be hitting our year mark in just a little over a month. Around this time last year I was still trying to figure out what camera I was going to buy. It fact I never touched a DSLR let alone shoot one. But the photos or getting end product I feel are only half of what makes photography fun. The people we have met and continue to meet and the reactions they have I feel fills the other half. People like Ben and Jessica are a great example. The couple flew in from Tennessee and stayed out in Kailua for about 10 days. ( I think it’s interesting how anyone from anywhere can find me using the internet.) The photo session was about two hours long. And in a short time we definitely learned  quite a bit  about the couple. One major one that stands out on my head is that Ben and Jessica had feet made of steel LOL (they walked around the rock area barefooted). It was definitely fun and easy to photograph the couple. All we did was wait for the newlywed to start being sweet and lovey dovey. For the most part all I really did was just point and shootJ. The Hazel had an intimate and beautiful wedding in Ko Olina. The ceremony itself was on the rocks overlooking the ocean and NW tip of Oahu (Our new Business Affiliate “himediapro” was also hired by Ben and Jessica to capture their wedding on video) after the ceremony we were able to get some great sunset and beach photos.
