We’ve had the privilege to capture  Jennifer and Scott’s engagement session. They came all the way from Canada  for some rest and relaxation and got engaged along the way! How romantic and exciting!!

More than you could expect! My now fiance and I went to Oahu to enjoy some time away from home. He proposed to me while we were on our trip and we decided to get our engagement photos done while we were there, as there was no way we would ever get a comparable beach scenery here in British Columbia. Having booked on very short notice, Alvarado Photography was AMAZING. I emailed Jess to inquire about how much notice they would need to book an engagement photo session. She emailed me within 24 hours and provided me with dates and times to choose from.  I asked her many questions in numerous emails as I’ve never been to Hawaii  before and not knowing much in Hawaii I was a little skeptical. I then Google Alvarado Photography and also found them on Facebook. I read through all the reviews and felt 100% comfortable to go ahead and book the session and make a 50% deposit online. I had no doubt in my mind that our photos would turn out great, as I fell in love with their work instantly. The pricing was amazingly so
reasonable that it did not make any sense not to book a session. Jess and John were always so accommodating changing our session from a morning shoot to sunset; I had a lot of questions about what locations we should shoot at, what we should wear… They were really helpful and it helped that they always responded so quickly. They made it super easy to book and make payments online. When we got to the photo shoot at Bellows Beach it was a bit grey out and I was worried that the pictures would turn out dim and the ocean water would not turn out as blue as I would have liked. Also it was super winding and did not know what to expect as I felt like my hair was always wrapped around my face and I’d probably look funny. I was so wrong they must have done a great job editing everything because none of my worries showed in any of the photos. The photos were ready to view on time within 2 weeks and they turned out absolutely breath taking. It had turned out more than I could ever expect. I am beyond happy and they have captured one of the most memorable days of our lives. I could not express how extremely satisfy I am with their quick and professional service. I wish they didn’t live so far away as I wish I could have them shoot my wedding and every other important event in life! Thank you so much John and Jess, we could not thank you enough for the amazing job you did! I highly recommend Alvarado Photography to everyone! Especially people traveling to Oahu from outside USA or not familiar or have not traveled to Hawaii. You don’t have to worry about whether you are booking with someone legit or not and spend your time enjoying your trip rather than worrying about getting scammed! They are super professional and will answer any and every questions or concerns you have!
